About our speaker, Marsha Carr
Marsha Carr serves on the faculty at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and is owner/operator of Edu-Tell, LLC a business partnered with UNCW through the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Carr previously served as a superintendent of schools in West Virginia for the past decade of over 35 years of service in private and public education. Edu-Tell is her third start-up. Carr has been honored with the National Milken Educator Award, Teacher of the Year, and recognized by the Maryland House of Delegates as well as received the Maryland Governor’s Citation. More recently her business was honored as a 2016 Coastal Entrepreneur Award winner in professional service. Carr is author of Self-Mentoring: The Invisible Leader and Self-Mentoring: The Invisible Leader Manual with a complimentary self-mentoring app.
